1.  The Queen Mother and the Queens of the Roundtable are the Chief Executive Officers and official liaisons between the chapter, local businesses, other local groups, and any other organizations with which the chapter wishes to communicate and do business, unless otherwise delegated by the Queen Mother.

 

2.  The Queen Mother shall appoint Queens of the Roundtable who jointly function as executive officers and will take turns presiding over all luncheons and other designated meetings, appoint Queens Counsels (the "C" word, committees) as needed, and otherwise carry on the business of the Scarlet O'Hatters of Allen, Red Hat Society.

 

3.  The Queen Mother and the Queens of the Roundtable are responsible for overseeing the creation and publication of any newsletters, publicity, E-mail announcements and communications of the Scarlet O'Hatters of Allen, Red Hat Society, as well as announcements, activities or business within the Red Hat Society or outside the society. 

 

4.  The Queen Mother and the Local E-mail Female, shall be exclusively responsible for

communication by E-mail, regarding Scarlet O’Hatters of Allen, Red Hat Society related business, to the general club membership and other groups within the Red Hat Society, unless otherwise delegated by the Queen Mother. ALL OUR E-MAIL COMMUNICATIONS ARE NOT TO BE FORWARDED TO PERSONS OUTSIDE OUR CHAPTER OR TO OTHER ORGANIZATIONS.

 

5.  The Queen Mother and the Queens of the Roundtable shall have the responsibility for planning and implementing the Bimonthly Luncheons for the general membership.

 

6.  No member, group of members or Queens of the Roundtable may enter into any verbal or written contract for goods or services as the Scarlet O’Hatters of Allen, Red Hat Society, without written permission of the Queen Mother. Any and all such contracts are at your own personal risk.

 

7.  All individual members or a group of members are encouraged to plan and arrange activities for the chapter membership, to be held in between the official Bimonthly Luncheons.  Be sure and clear dates with our Local E-mail Female and Calendar Queen, and present your idea for Official Approval to the Queen Mother [before it is sent out to membership.]  Then plan your event or activity, send the detailed information in "ready to release form" to our Local E-mail Female and Calendar Queen, and she will forward it to all members.

 

8.  All small groups within our large group come under the jurisdiction & guidelines of the Scarlet O’Hatters of Allen Chapter of the RHS & represent the chapter at large; they are not a separate entity.

 

9.  The Scarlet O'Hatters of Allen, Red Hat Society is not responsible for the personal safety or any personal injury that might occur during chapter functions and activities.
 

10.    Dress Requirements:
AGE 50 AND PLUS, PURPLE DRESS, SUIT, OR OTHER OUTFIT WITH AN *APPROPRIATE RED HAT. 
AGE 49, LAVENDER DRESS, SUIT, OR OTHER OUTFIT WITH AN *APPROPRIATE PINK HAT.  (*CONSIDER SIZE OF HAT WHEN ACTIVITY/EVENT REQUIRES SITTING IN AN AUDIENCE).

 

There are NO restrictions to wearing our Red Hat Society attire.
